Vienna Pride kicks off Pride Month with a series of events taking place over two weeks, including things like art shows and the ever-popular Pride Run. The Vienna Pride committee is especially interested in keeping Pride political, so they encourage people to bring banners and make their voices heard. The Pride Village lasts several days, centering around Ruthausplatz. The Pride Parade is set at the end of the celebrations, marching down Carinthian Street, the most famous street in Central Vienna. It's a relaxed party with several hundred participants taking up the space.
